We aim to improve the overall health and well-being of diverse populations through our various initiatives in order to achieve health equity across the world.
Over the past 4 years, we've hosted several events and plan to host many more in the future. Check out what we've done.
As part of the Students2Veterans initiative, we co-hosted the Deported Veterans Forum in conjunction with the Asian Americans Advancing Justice organization. With over 50 attendees, several guest speakers, and a video featuring veteran voices, this was a very successful event in gaining support to pass the VISION Act (AB 937). Our work was featured on an international news publication.
Within the Nutritional Program initiative, we raised over $1000 in order to fund a project creating nutritional education kits for food insecure individuals in San Jose. After packaging over 100 kits with an educational flier (with resources about food programs and healthy nutritional habits), several healthy snacks, and educational supplies.
Our main objective in the Conquer Chemobrain initiative is to improve the quality of life of recovering cancer patients by reducing the impact of chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment. One big way we are doing is through research-backed exercise lessons which can be found on our YouTube channel
